Just an idea to replace pulse Phasers on all Federation stations with defensive capabilities with Phasers or a Phaser/Photon torpedo combo instead of pulse Phasers. Only the Defiant class has pulse Phasers so just a thought to make things look right.

Also maybe put a standard Phaser on the Venture class.

Maybe Phasers and torpedos for the Stardock and the other 2 only have Phasers.

The space stations never had pulse, pulse had existed in hand held weapons but was never realy carried over to capitol ship sized weapons untill the defiant. and i belive the perigrine class fighter has pulse weapons but they would be of smaller magnitude.
