hi

is your sound crackling or is the distortion more soften?
tyrkina is right, downloading new drivers for your soundcard may solve your problem? Just for interest, which soundcard are you using, dark angel?

try to identify your soundcard via start -> run -> type "dxdiag" -> ok -> sound -> name

well heres a faq to the map editor
http://www.strategyplanet.com/starmada/map...al/mapfaq.shtml
and heres how to make player loactions i still can't do it but hey! it might help u

http://www.strategyplanet.com/starmada/map...al/mapfaq.shtml

scroll to the position you want to make the first player start (yea)
ALT-leftclick where the start location should be. You will add a pin-like object
now doubleclick on the pin. A options dialog should pop up. Leave every setting untouched except the name. Change it to Camera_1

repeat this procedure with Camera_2, Camera_3 and so on

ujust say if you need any more help
