Why was the beta 1.0 install file removed?? i understand that there is now the 1.1 version, but the original should be left avaliable to download along with the patch(s) for that version so people don't have to download the entire file again......

now i have to restart my download, thats 40-50mb of downloading wasted, for someone with only a 56k connection that about 5 hours WASTED!!!!

sorry for that, i left the 1.0 file two days after releasing 1.1 on the server. i haven't unlimited space on the server and already exceeded it with these two files together. Due Beta 1.0 was not satisfyingly with stability and a stable version is availabele i removed the file cause i don't thought that somebody still trys two days after release of 1.1 to get the old version.

That is true but if you have a friend who has DSL or RoadRunner(RoadRunner perferably) then ask them to dwnld it for you.

well, normally i get my dad to download it at work (the have ADSL), but hes on holidays for 2 more weeks, so i can get this about 20mb every 2-3 days and i'll get the file about 1/2 - 1 week before he goes back.....

and i didn't mean to post this message here, i clicked on the wrong topic!!!

and ive started getting the 1.1 beta, which is about 20% with 5 hours left!!!!
