Title: UBall request
Post by: Crazy Moose on February 15, 2008, 12:38:17 AM
I thought it would be nice to be able to create ships and other objects with the utrinum beam, I use the weapon for quite a lot and I was thinking it could be used to bring in a reinforcement fleet or just one ship.

At the moment the I dont think it can be used to create ships only objects.

Also related to this is a lifespan = 5000, would mean that the ship would dissapear after 5 seconds of being created.

Theres also a few little bits to go with this like effects to play when ship is created and uncreated, sounds and graphical.

Would really like to see this. Great work guys

you could use the replace weapon for ship creation :)

As Optec just said, use the Replaceweapon.

Specify the ships you want to bring in, specify their locations, set it to keep the original ship, and there you go.

You can even make it random which ships turn up too... That's what I do with my Raider fleet's "Call Reinforcements!" ability =D

This method (with lifespan) could also be used if you'd like to scare off the Kazon with holo-ships....

Way cool  :woot:
Will this appear in FO v3, and under what context if it does?
