Title: Premonition Class

Just wondering, is the Premonition ever going to be buildable or just stay as a Map unit? Because it is quite powerful even without Temporal Stasis.

Ok. I doubt Starfleet would ever build one anyway.

Oh i dont know. ok, in canon they maybe wouldnt need to thanks to Voyager, but it came from a future where the Borg had virtually destroyed the federation. i think they'd maybe build one as a safeguard

Yeah, they make the plans, choose the name and crew and begin. Then someone mentions what could happen if the Borg or Romulans get the ship and the whole thing gets scrapped in an instant.

They don't need a safeguard because Starfleet is a primative and small minded organization that destroys anything that threatens them (Iconian Transporter) and condems other races to avoid making enemies (The occupation of Bajor and Federation olonies given to Cardasians). Who needs safeguards when you can destroy threats BEFORE they become a threat in the first place. That is my honest opinion of Starfleet!

Your description of Starfleet sound very much like the attitude and disposition of many a modern foreign policy.
Is there a parallel being drawn?
