I also use Firefox 2.0.0.6 and have no problems.

The error message is throwing up all sorts of stuff to do with, Joomla, apache and PHP docs (and possibly Simple Machines, so SMF might mean Simple machines folder? ). This seems to indicate that the problem is at the fleetops.net end, not your browser. They use two different content management systems to operate the site, and the error message might indicate a conflict. All of your data (passwords, profile) are stored on SQL databses linked to each CMS. I'm definitely no expert on this one, but it seems it's not to do with you. Although, you could try cleaning out your system, including cookies, and then try again. Try using Crap Cleaner: CCleaner - Home (http://www.ccleaner.com).

Of course, i could be talking out of my... rear torpedo launcher.

Having worked with Joomla's CMS and SMF before, the error doesn't quite surprise me. often times when SMF goes and has a folder Joomla's default pathing is broken (what I think is happening here). Not sure though if a cookie/cache/etc clear would be helpful as it was clear prior to my arriving on the site.

I noticed the ColorZilla Icon in the bottom left of your browser window. Do you do web development for a career, or hobby? I use the "web developer" add-on aswell. I tried Firebug but thought it was overrated.

How good is firefox and mozilla and yadaydyad compared to IE 7; what are the benefits and cons (and does it cost money?)? I've been wanting to find out for a while from people who use those programs.

Heh, yeah, I have web developer toolbar, but I keep it hidden when I'm not up to anything.

It's free and open source, The advantages is that it correctly utilizes the browser sandbox model. It is also a bit more w3 complaint and has better JavaScript exception handling. On top of all this there are a lot of nifty add on's made for it. One thing is that the print feature is no where near IE's, and IE does have a better cold start time thanks to being embedded in the core. And of course there is opera. It is w3 complaint, and creates a proper browser sandbox, it uses a few nifty features like a built in IRC, Bittorent, and speed dial feature. Sadly its throws JS exceptions when the JS isn't perfect.

Played with it some, more, seems the thing that was setting it off was the my own image (off site Avatar) all the other fields didn't throw up the error when tested individually
