Title: "Temporal Flux" Passive ability? Post by: T-Man on September 08, 2007, 10:58:17 AM Just a little idea i was thinking for timeships (like the Premonition and Krenim weaponship):
"Temporal Flux" - The ship features a shield system that keeps it out of sync with time. The ship and its crew are immune to alterations to the timeline, even if they directly affect their own pasts. In game terms, ships with this passive would be immune to special weapons that were temporal-based (so they wouldn't be affected by the statis field or gemini effect for example). I know it might be a bit unbalancing, but i felt it logical that ships like the Premonition would have some kind of shielding against timeline changes. Speaking of the Prem, i noticed the FO version doesen't have Gemeni effect like it did in A1. Is that for balancing reasons? would it be possible for it to be given it again? Thanks. Opinions welcome. Title: Re: "Temporal Flux" Passive ability?
