Title: An error occured in the application Post by: Prof.Qual on August 31, 2007, 12:15:48 PM I have a strange problem, maybe someone may help me. I´ve installed the fleetops, vista patch and mediafiles. After then I deleted the .map file and copied the new .exe and so on.
But when I start the game, there is immediately the message: An error occured in the application with the following bug report: madExcept version: 3.0d exception number: 1 exception class: EInOutError exception message: File access denied I have already reinstalled for several times. The starting logo only occures without the new .exe and .mad data, but then I have the Vista - crash. UAC causes it to crash...

I don't even have to run Flops in administrative mode for it to work :D Do you happen to know whether I can still play armada II on vista with Flops?
