i was thinking on armada/navy games you get these main ship clasess
gun boat
destory
sub
crusor
battle
aircraft
in fleet ops we have all of them (sub=cloak) byt we don't have an aircraft carriar is there any ship that is very strong defensive little weaponry and some sort of attack shuttle that is for long range only??? like you have to be 5500k away to use it or sumthing???

well, you can find similar things, for example the chonaq class with an assault disruptor, or other "artillery" weapons, like the steamrunner
perhaps there there will be a few non player races which have fighters and fighter carriers

I believe there is a cardassian ship which has a special weapon where some type of little fighters come out and attack the ship you select. Maybe something like that could work. Or maybe just make a ship kind of like a moveable shipyard that can build a small shuttle.

aswell as watching this ww2 movie the hydrans on scf1 gave me the idea as they have stingers aswell as shuttles
