Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: Dominus_Noctis on August 13, 2007, 06:33:53 PM I dunno if I have the time... if someone were willing to explain commitment stuff, maybe I could.... :borg:
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: nefrance on August 16, 2007, 09:58:37 PM you can look at the code of conduct at www.leagueoflegends.org (http://www.leagueoflegends.org)
you dont need much of a commitment. Posted on: August 13, 2007, 03:06:24 pm Anyone interested? Posted on: August 16, 2007, 03:50:19 pm anyone? Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: Dr. Lazarus on August 16, 2007, 10:04:24 PM hmmm silence :ermm:
I predict, using my powers of reason, that many souls will join LoL shortly. B) Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: Dr. Lazarus on August 16, 2007, 10:21:19 PM We have had relay bad experience with "clans" so I don't expect you will get many members here. Really??? I wasn't aware of that. Must've been before I joined. Please explain ewm. Tell us all what happened. I'm rather intrigued because I can't see how a clan could cause trouble in of itself (except for MDA, they're a bunch of turds ) Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: Lumpybob on August 16, 2007, 10:34:02 PM well, to make a long story short, there used to be a forums site for fleetops clans, and there were many. but, as what all good things must do, RFO eventually became very, very twisted, and thus began a flame war between RFO and whoever they were flaming. it got very, very bad, and the forums eventualyl shut down. since then, the clans really have succumbed to time, and have fallen apart. other times, people have banded together and formed new clans, some were good, some were not. but, as before, they fell apart too. thus is why most people have a slightly negative view of RFO, as it was viewed as the catalyst to the collapse. (i don't know how many people think this, actually, but i do). there was eventually a clan made purely on the basis of defeating RFO, named RLF (Romulan Liberation Front). thus, more flaming, and generally bad feelings all around. eventually, it died down, and the clans people took their separate paths, and then we get to today, with only tattered remnants of RFO, FOSF nowhere to be seen (by me at least) RLF completely invisible, TD (The dominion) evaporated, and many others. Thus is the brief (sort of) history of clans in FO as I know it.
if i got any dtails wrong, this is only my perception and interpretation of the barest of details. Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: Lumpybob on August 16, 2007, 10:52:37 PM yes, RFO is still kicking, barely though, and they have been reworked, and havent caused, or done, any flaming, disrespecting, or anyting else in a while. and RFO did stop eventually, though i am a bit fuzzy on the details of it. but the new RFO is about fun, and not hate. but yeah, RFO did a bunch of disrespectful stuff in the past, but it has changed, so it is a bit unfair to it's members to label it as the same as before, even though it has the same tag. and yeah, RFO was evil, and bad, and not good.
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: Dr. Lazarus on August 16, 2007, 10:53:44 PM Pheewww!! :sweatdrop: Sounds like it was tense!
(Makes me glad I'm an IBKW... :innocent:) Oooops!! Did I say that out loud!!??? They'll get me for this. Wozbot shall return! I'm glad things are better now. It's all about fun in the end. :whistling: Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: Lumpybob on August 16, 2007, 10:55:20 PM truly, i too am glad everyone gets along, and that we are all one, big, dysfunctional, family ^-^
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: nefrance on August 17, 2007, 01:07:22 AM this is not the topic to post clan stories. yes i am aware of what happened with FO clans however this is a different clan. We are an Armada 2 clan in general. There are 2 mods being used in the clan, Fleetops and Babalon 5. We also play Wolfenstein Enemy Territory, Americas Army, and Guild Wars.
(if you want to post clan stories start a new topic!!!) Thanks nefrance Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: nefrance on August 17, 2007, 01:48:52 AM anyone intrested???
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: The Old Man on August 17, 2007, 06:51:45 AM Instead of faking new posts here the FO-board could get a clan-section where everyone can take a look at what the clans supporting FO have to offer.
Could we have a clan-section please? (No, it does not have to happen now. ;) Take your time.) Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: nefrance on August 17, 2007, 01:01:11 PM good idea!!!!!
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: nefrance on August 17, 2007, 04:09:25 PM anyone intrested please i beg you guys :crybaby:

Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: RFO-M.J.Pulaskee on August 18, 2007, 05:33:44 AM I say you all join RFO, we don't spam as much, don't quit games mid way though, we don't think higher of our self then we are, we have a nice simple ranking structure and have been in fleet ops for over 3 years.
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: Dominus_Noctis on August 18, 2007, 06:00:50 AM Well, I do have to think about it... and when stuff settles around where I am I probably will join... I don't know (what's the commitment factor; I don't have that much time so if I have to bail I don't want to be blackballed or the like :sweatdrop:)

That's right, you're just here and no one gets spammed. Not that I would be up for joining any clan but I would be interested in some information about those who support FO. And just to bring this one back: Instead of faking new posts (I didn't want to call it spam.) here the FO-board could get a clan-section where everyone can take a look at what the clans supporting FO have to offer. Could we have a clan-section please? Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: RFO-M.J.Pulaskee on August 18, 2007, 08:27:11 AM Dominus_Noctis we dont demand much we are a very easy going clan. though i would ask at least twice a month. as long as you dont bail on games, and try to win then we will always like you.
The Old Man, sir sir sir, we have a site in the works, it will be RFO Romulan Fleet Operatoins (http://www.mjpp.net/RFO.html) and yes i know piggied back not all that professional but you do what you can. even with a site there wont be spam a respectable clan needs not do that. I concur with the not faking news posts, i think that the Online Gaming section is ment for clans, though i agree that a clan only place would be nice, maybe a sticky with all the FO clans? You should make a post in the requests section or forum site/ quality, if you haven't already. Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: nefrance on August 19, 2007, 06:17:15 PM anyone
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: Dominus_Noctis on August 19, 2007, 07:40:34 PM Holy Hell (yes I realize the irony)
RFO-M.J.Pulaskee has gone evil on us... ANTICHRIST!!!!! Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: RFO-M.J.Pulaskee on August 19, 2007, 09:58:16 PM ??? i um...dont understand that one at all mate.
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: Dominus_Noctis on August 20, 2007, 02:48:54 AM Lol, now he's back to normal folks... it's all ok just ignore :sweatdrop:
(your post count was 666; I just was being stooopid ) Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: Dr. Lazarus on August 20, 2007, 02:05:43 PM Aah yes the mark of the beast. Each number is one short of the perfect biblical number 7, emphasised 3 times. I used to study all that stuff when I was a fundamentalist christian. Boy how I miss those days. Honestly... :shifty:
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: Lumpybob on August 20, 2007, 06:47:41 PM no shubbery?
well, then i guess i stick with RFO :D Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: RedShirt on August 23, 2007, 10:59:24 PM FOSF nowhere to be seen (by me at least) Man, I came into this late. For your info, FOSF is still very much alive, in much the same way as RFO. Mostly, we are waiting for v3 to come out of our holes. Well, I stayed aboveground to represent the clan, and I'm sure Adama will pop out sometime, but other than that the clan is mostly inactive. Update: Yup. Roach, Kobol, and Baron have all disappeared and Eufnoc is only visiting on occasion. Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: redmanmark86 on August 23, 2007, 11:34:26 PM no offence to RFO but god i hope LoL are better because i haven't found RFO too challenging....
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: RedShirt on August 24, 2007, 12:13:33 AM How many LoL members currently play FO?
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: Lumpybob on August 24, 2007, 01:47:09 AM by my count, about between 5-9,
and sorry for my misconception about FOSF, and we should get together for a friendly game of v3pr Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: RFO-M.J.Pulaskee on August 24, 2007, 03:54:21 AM We are undefeated when it comes to LoL, very sad now that its in perspective. ;)
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: redmanmark86 on August 24, 2007, 08:51:53 AM I challenge both clans in the name of B!G....
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: RedShirt on August 24, 2007, 02:35:39 PM You're in B!G? How's Baron doing? It's been forever since we heard from him...
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: The Old Man on August 24, 2007, 02:47:50 PM Indeed. There are a lot of people missing here.
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: RedShirt on August 24, 2007, 03:01:53 PM Too many. Oh well. They'll flood back when something big happens.
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: Dr. Lazarus on August 24, 2007, 03:03:19 PM Yeah I've heard rumours that there have been older members that are no longer here. The strange thing is, that the member that told me that, said that it was due to newer members such as myself making "infuriating" comments. :hmmm:
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: The Old Man on August 24, 2007, 03:08:51 PM Too many. Oh well. They'll flood back when something big happens. Like V3 final? :woot:Yeah I've heard rumours that there have been older members that are no longer here. The strange thing is, that the member that told me that, said that it was due to newer members such as myself making "infuriating" comments. :hmmm: That's kindness itself then, isn't it?Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: RFO-M.J.Pulaskee on August 24, 2007, 05:00:53 PM hey red, i wouldn't challenge LoL, they play dirty....oh wait they don't play at all they spam.
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: Lumpybob on August 25, 2007, 03:07:59 AM truly
i went into their TS today, to see where callum was for the AA game, and siders basically said that they are not allowed to play 'games' with me as i am the enemy. and that during war, they hack, spam, and basically make the enemy leave online gaming forever, and NOT fight the enemy in a legitamate battleground Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: redmanmark86 on August 25, 2007, 11:36:51 AM I'm sorrry i am confused, what is the point of having a clan if it won't play other clans in games? and also... why on earth would you go round hacking peoples computers and takign things so seriosuly... why can't they just do something fun...
its people like them then that make me sick if its true and what geeks they must be... once again if its true... as for Baron, i have not seen him for ages, i left FO a long time ago when i got Vista but now its working again i am back... but i fear i am the last surviving member of B!G... I would recruit memembers but so far no1 standard of play has been impressive enough for me to recruit anyone and B!G has a high title to hold... I was personally trained by the Baron... i don't know when/if anyone will come back, its been so long since an update was released and though Doca Cola and Optec wrk hard, they are still not the fastest and they don't release much to tease or keep people interested... the main problem is, now compared to other RTS games... FO lacks any real depth... Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: nefrance on December 09, 2007, 09:52:01 PM This topic is out of date, someone plz close this topic
Title: Re: LoL looking for members Post by: serpicus on December 09, 2007, 11:13:15 PM I havent read the full thread, and I know I am going to get rapped in the mouth for this - but when you have named your clan LOL - I hope you dont expect members to Laugh Out Loud.
