hey i never see the borg pic and have only ever seen the silver one(not sure if thats the romulan star empire) 1 and what are the other four going to be???

there is a small issue with the launcher that the splashs are not cycled really random, that is fixed in beta 2. so it can be that you see the various splashs different times, some seldom and some more often.

check the launcher for all available splash screens

yes i know but was the silver splash screen the one of the romulan star empire???

That's the Romulan predatory bird, holding the two homeworlds, Remus und Romulus... you're right. But it's the Version as seen in ST: Nemesis, while the one that is your avatar is the older design that was introduced in TNG.
