I just finished the proof of concept and started a game in a wide screen resolution of 1440x900 px. Of course it won't be limited to only that resolution. I included a section for the Fleet Operations Launcher to let you enter any desired screen resolution you want. You should know that the interface got stretched, too, as it was designed only for 4:3 resolutions by the Armada 2 developers...but we found a solution for that and are working on it. Of course resolutions like 1280x1024 will also work where many ATI card owners currently have problems with. Just to make that clear for new readers: That feature is not yet available in Fleet Operations v3 PR or has been released for Armada II. Title: Custom Screen Resolutions For Armada 2 Post by: DOCa Cola on November 20, 2006, 12:29:49 AM actually i do not :D my standard resolution ist 1280x1024 and it worked quite well without modifications for me. but many other users had problems with missing resolutions - and widescreen support is of course a nice feature.

On a side note: It's been a long time since I had an A2 LAN party, but have confirmed with bunches of friends once the resolution fix is in!! Thanks for breathing new life into one of our favorite ST Titles. Title: Re: Custom Screen Resolutions For Armada 2 Post by: Lt.Cmdr Worf on April 03, 2007, 07:01:38 AM I too am eagerly awaiting the resolution fix, as I have just purchased and am currently using a new Acer 19" WS monitor...can't wait for this and FO3...played the PR on the monitor and even though stuff was stretched..it looked really cool...very sharp indeed.
