Title: Startrek Armada Future Tense Ii Post by: Acidpunk on October 10, 2006, 01:37:01 AM Future Tense captured the attention of an entire gaming community. Armed with features that pushed Armada to what was believed to be it's fullest potential. Now here comes Future Tense II - The Orian Invasion. But just what is the MOD?
INTRODUCTION Star Trek Future Tense left off leaving the player to fight the biggest war since the war with the Dominion in the 2370's. The Sernaix war, based from a fanbased series entitled Virtual Voyager. Future Tense's Sernaix are from a neighbouring galaxy to the Milkyway and had arrived in the Alpha Quadrant to remove all life to fullfill their desire for destruction. Traversing the great distances by using gateways, in similar fashion to Borg Transwarp Conduits, the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-F) and the USS Titan lead by Fleet Admiral William T. Riker travel to Sernaix space, and begin the suicide mission to save millions. They are successful in destroying the Sernaix's only way to enter the Alpha Quadrant, but in doing so - have doomed themselves to the wrath of the Sernaix fleet. Future Tense 2 begins 8 years after the three year war. The year is now 2420 and Starfleet are about to commission the latest ship to bear the name Enterprise. Unbeknown to Starfleet the Temporal Cold war, first encountered by Captain Jonathan Archer in the 2250's and other references classified by Starfleet Command to the highest level, is about to return with a vengence. As the new USS Enterprise, NCC 1701-G begins her voyage, the ship is pirated by Orians a faction from the 27th Century. Their mission is to use the Enterprise to destroy the Federation where it is weakest. Using the Federation Flagship to do it to them is iconic and after steeling the Enterprise, open a rift in space to transport them to another time and space. GAMEPLAY Future Tense 2 will have a very unique gameplay, radically different from what has previously been seen on Star Trek Armada. After chasing the Enterprise back in time - or to the 27th Century, the player will be able to select what time period to intercept the Enterprise and its Orian habitants. The Eras are split into multiple catagories and groups where you will be able to team up with various Enterprise Captains in a temporal battle to prevent the Federation from being destroyed, and restore the natural flow of time - without too many paradoxes. The Eras the player can select are: STAR TREK ENTERPRISE: Battle the Orians before the Federation was even concieved with the help of pre-Federation starships and some sceptical Vulcans. STAR TREK THE ORIGINAL SERIES: Team up with a hero of his time, as the Orians attempt to attack Starfleet in a classical period of Federation History STAR TREK THE MOTION PICTURE - UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY There have been some changes, but the crews are the same as you attack the Enterprise and its Orian habitants from landing the Federation at war with the Klingons STAR TREK GENERATIONS - THE NEXT GENERATION Select the period and call upon the help of John Harriman or Rachel Garrett as the Orians try once more to destroy the fabric of time STAR TREK THE NEXT GENERATION / DEEP SPACE NINE / VOYAGER While Voyager's lost, the Orians try again in the height of the Dominion War in what promises to be a show down of a battle STAR TREK NEMESIS - FUTURE TENSE (1) Learn the fate of Captain Picard and the Enterprise-E after Nemesis as you get the chance to see what happens after Trek finished. Or you could join the new Captain of the Enterprise before it's destruction in the Sernaix War FUTURE TENSE (2) - 27th CENTURY Travel to see the fate of the Federation by traveling to the Future the Orian's indiginous time frame... SO HOW WILL THIS WORK.... Prior to entering the game, you'll be given a "Temporal Passport" if you will from our friends on board the U.S.S. Relativity. This passport will give you a new menu to select a time frame. The game will then launch with the selected time frame, complete with relative introductions, missions, units, sounds and weapons of that era. It is then your job to protect the timeline without creating too many incursions along the way. REQUIREMENTS: Star Trek Armada Star Trek Armada Patch 1.2 Armada Requirements for system specifications are listed on the back of the box/cover ...................................................................................................................... Just wanted to let everyone know about this up comming mod being produced by Phantom Currently i am second in command of the mod and if anyone has oppinions it would be great B) Title: Startrek Armada Future Tense Ii Post by: redmanmark86 on October 10, 2006, 01:47:55 AM stop boosting and go get so some work already :P
