Title: Guests Post by: NieKnight on August 09, 2003, 04:41:12 PM can they post or will they be able to post i hope they can not as in www.armada2files.com guests use to slag off peoples work and potd's under guets so that no body could say so & so shut up
Title: Guests Post by: DOCa Cola on August 09, 2003, 06:51:07 PM nope, only registered users can post to avoid dump comments (like "lol"-posts  ) and it keeps the moderating work low (- more time to mod :))
so if you are a guest (to all guests) feel free to register (i assure you i will send you no newsletters or something and take part in our forum :) DOCa Cola Title: Guests Post by: NieKnight on August 10, 2003, 12:39:25 PM o good that use to really p**s me off if your going to say something say it and let people know who u are so we can kick the s**t out of you l8r
Title: Guests Post by: Kahless on October 26, 2003, 11:37:19 PM We don't give their names, but their IP is there, so you can do more than just kick them.
Title: Guests Post by: DOCa Cola on October 27, 2003, 06:43:41 AM but many people don't care about even when their ip is on the board. i'd say, when they really interested to post something useful then they take 2 minutes to register and then post something. i have seen on some other board with post enabled guest accounts (including the a2f.com comments) that 50% of these people just posting comments that are not really worth for a discussion cause they are mostly rude
DOCa Cola Title: Guests Post by: NieKnight on October 27, 2003, 01:09:26 PM yeah i know i'm just really glad that i don't see guest posting in the fourm here
Title: Guests Post by: DOCa Cola on October 27, 2003, 04:26:23 PM not all guest posts would be unfriendly or rude ones, but from what i have seen there are some people having fun posting negative things. people who are interested in start a discussion would register anyway.
Title: Guests Post by: Kahless on October 27, 2003, 08:20:31 PM That's one of the differences between forums and comments, comments aren't really for starting a discussion(although it happens).
