Nah its cool dude, we will just have to work around the grammar/translation ^_^

"Armada MDF Image", I assume this is a Translator error meaning a CD Image (Copied CD). If so please state which kind you are using.

Do you have a previous version of FO on your computer?

ok, i need you to go through your programs folder and either uninstall or delete any folders referring to Fleet Operations.

Please DO NOT delete the installer itself

After this please have your CD in the draw and run the installer, when you get to the target destination screen make sure something like this is in the box:

C:\Program Files\Activision\Star Trek Armada II Fleet Operations

Does giochi = "Program Files" ?

It may well look like this to you:

C:\giochi\Activision\Star Trek Armada II Fleet Operations

If that does not work it may well be a corrupted download

Filefront (http://files.filefront.com/FOSetup3PRrar/;5162023;;/fileinfo.html)
Armada2files.com (http://armada2.filefront.com/file/Fleet_Operations;64678)
ST-Galaxy.de (http://www.st-galaxy.de/cms/index.php?categ=35&parent=12&p=downloads&area=1)
Fileplanet (http://www.fileplanet.com/hosteddl.aspx?/hst/t/r/trickste/armada2/FOSetup3PR.zip)

Torrent (http://www.torrentspy.com/torrent/767257/Fleet_Operations_3_0_Preview_Release)

If redownloading doesnt help, and your sure that you are using an original Armada 2 CD. Then im afraid i have no clue as to why it wont work and in that case you should try to contact Doca cola and/or Optec.

your options
1. either it may be related to the image you are using, try another one
2. burn the image you used to a real cd
3. try to get a replacement cd from a friend or buy one
4. wait for v3 final as the problem is known and solved in the current development build setup
