Title: Wormholes?

Would it be possible to introduce Wormholes to Fleet Operations. In the game Conquest Frontier Wars, wormholes would transfer ships to other systems.

I think it would be neat to defend (or attack) multiple systems.

that would kind of take the focus of the game away from action/rts and make it more a rts/sim imo.

not really the direction people would like to see fleetops go in just yet.

if you mean what i think you do, no it is not possible to have multiple maps linked together by wormholes, or any other method. unfortunate because that would be cool :)

Welcome to the forum mate, are you active in the Armada 2 gamespy lobby? we must have a game sometime. i want more people to play online to have 4v4 or even 8 players against each other!

it would be cool to have wormholes linking multiple maps together, such a shame because it is possible but obviously not with A2 or FO engine but u see in a lot of games nowasdays the worlds are expanded with virtually no loading times i.e Tony Hawks Underground, GTA etc etc etc

Yeah, it's a very good idea, but it has been toyed with many times.

Its not possible in A2 engine, it has been suggested a couple of times already.

ah the wormholes in conquest

I used to love commanding fleets over 16 star systems i miss that :(
