here another picture and a better error description:

If you group a Galaxy/Akira with a Sovereign, just one of the Special abilities button is displayed (in my testgame clicking the button started the Galaxy/Akira special ability, not the Engine overload)

I've had a similar problem. I had grouped a bunch of dominion ships together and suddenly one of the special abilities (multiple polaron beam firing thingy for the really big class dominion ship) had an enabled icon. I hadn;t researched it, but I pushed it to see what would happen. The commander informed me that, sadly, founder, we can't do that right now. When I clicked on the ship seperately, the icon turned all un-clickable and dark red, like it was supposed to. I did it again, and the same thing happened.

It sounds related.

but the real question that we all want the answer to is, should we care about theese minor issues and bug the devs with it or just shut the hell up?

I think we should bug the devs with it since they like error reports so much  :D ...

Same strange problem with the Galaxy/Sovereign.
And I also had the above mentioned problem with the Dominion.

And I do think we should tell the staff because we all want quality and they released the PR not only for fun but to find some bugs... well, and to enjoy playing it  :D

edit:
And who is waldo?!

i think a large reason why the devs released this preview was to shut some people up, "whens it gonna be finished" "when will it be released" that sort of thing.
as they say you cant speak with your mouth full, or at the very least your muffles are easier to ignore ;)

and Waldo is Wally to those in Europe.

Waldo, Wally... what? :)

The only other meaning of Wally that I know is "wallpaper".

dont you remember the old comic books/ cartoons about "where's Wally"? you know, glasses, big bobble hat, and brown hair (think he had a dog too, but unsure). They would put him in a croud of people and you'd have to try and spot him.

Must be some kind of exclusive with English speaking countries...

Or it's not my generation. :) But thanks for the info, I'll check google now. :D

Edit:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Where's_Waldo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Where's_Waldo)

Hm, I remember that guy visually... but only very faint.

And as you can see (follow the link), in German it's: "Wo ist Walter?" :)

of course we should report that issue

1. That's the reason why there is a Pre-Release

2. This is a major UI Issue and hampers a gameplay!
