i like the pics but i gotta say im quite ****** about seeing "akiraprise" being in it :hmmm: . the tactical cube looks cool, ds9 looks a little off, but the excelsior makes up for that. so far i think (graphically) the makers cant decide on an overall level of quality :wacko: . still lookin forward to it though :sweatdrop:

hm ... it will not be the hit i think ... to that funny battleship i say it reminds me of star wars engines .... because of this blue shine at the end of the duble whats it ? ... engines ?
there it can be seen they know to less about star TREK ...

I must say some of the textures do look a bit cheap, but the lighting and textures on the three galaxy class ships look great especially the lighting. :assimilate:  

i can't wait to see the mods for this game, i exspect some of the guys from bcfiels will be creating some good moddles for this game! i think as it stands the texture are kinda sucky on thinks like the cube and a few others

did not thing you could edit p2p games and make mods for them? otherwise you could edit files for things like how many months you payed level's money etc.

most likely, most star trek games out there leave a lot of room to be modded, makes up for the crappy rubbish thats put in most of the time -_- . if they dont, word will get around and very few people will actually get it so its in there best interest, to make it easily moddable.

Odds are that it's gonna be crap, but still, lets give it a chance.

like i always say: "don't knock it til you try it, at least once anyway".

some even newer pics posted, again i find myself saying they are of varying quality (klingon ship in particular has textures missing, not very smart to post that :wacko: ), well its the same link i provided before so have a gander say wot you think of 'em.

Except for some ships that are missing textures (lol) the quality of the models is great IMO. Im still not liking the borg ones that much though.....

However, I'm MUCH more excited about the fact that blizzard finnaly revealed the new WoW race!

Heck, even the new AoEIII exp and the EaW exp were more exciting.

Call me naive, but I kind of like the way this game is going. It is Bethesda on the bandwagon, and I definitely trust them to make a good (and mod-friendly) game.
You can also call me blind, because I kind of like the textures for the Cube. They seem more menacing than most stock ones, at least. A bit green, but lighting is good, right?

I think my only slight problem with the screens is that some of the phasers seem a little large in comparison with the ship, like on the Constitution one.

yeah i noticed that ages ago it just doesnt look right that the Connie should fire that type of phaser

they should give them Wrath of Khan style phasers

as for the Name Np man i was just ******* with you  B)  

If you watch two of the latest leaked recordings from E3, the Connie and Miranda both have those types of phasers.

I really don't know what you guys are complaining about. I've been following this project for months now, doing regular updates on A2Files - the textures are fine, the new designs are creative license and in case you haven't notice, few ships have been shown in full view (all angles) so you can't say anything yet about whether or not you do/don't lie them purely because of one angle.

I think there are quite a few synnics in here hoping for this perfect game...won't happen, no game is perfect, but this one does look fantastic and if perhaps you looked at it from a non-ST perspective, you'd see the ships are incredibly detailed, have some stunning textures and lighting going on there, the gameplay looks fun and the battle sequences look like they're going to be tremendous fun.

As a general question, how many of you have actually gone out to do research on the game rather then just see the information posted here? Have any of you gone out and looked at reviews, typed in a few game-review sites and had a browse or fullly checked out the ST:L Bethesda site? I know I have...

to tell you the truth, the gameplay on this looks very slow, and not at all that interesting :( . im sorry to say it but the more i see of this upcoming game the less it is appealling(spelling) to me.

Khmmm the movies look like BC, just viewing from outside  -_-  Though I have to admit the models look impressing.
1 thing is bothering me though, Ive seen many screens and read many interviews yet there is NO mention of the Dominion in the game  -_-
