I don't like ipods, their *limited* on file formats, basically forcing people to use itunes which is £1 more a album (avarage) compaired to napster

the screen shot i saw did not look disapoting. thay used lots of brite colors and and i did not see a huge inprovment sins siv3.

i am whating for deoblo 3 that cood be cool if thay do it right.

NOT HUGE IMPROVEMENTS? nope you don't see it by just looking by pictures, resources like elephants and horses are very important otherwise you won't get eephant archers and stuff or quicker tanks if you don't have iron, diplomacy is much more agressive and it actually helps. the whole gameplay is improved drastically.

It is a Rock River Arms AR-15 A2, 20-in barrel, and flash suppressor.

The upper and lower receiver, the carrying handle, the barrel, the flash-hider and the forward sight (and the aluminium magazine) are metal parts. The stock, pistol-grip and the forward hand-guard are all usually made of plastic.

But still, much more metal parts than the G36 or XM-8. ;)

plastis is better its lighter.  i got a 30-30 and went hunting :)

I suppose plastic would be a better overall material than metal...

my own knowledge on guns is rather limited, but I must agree on that point

Thats one of the reasons that I chose this particular weapon. It is mostly metal yet still only weights around 6.5 - 7 lbs. It was a much more solid feel in your hands than some of the other military guns I looked at. And it is a "smaller" caliber (term used loosely) so the recoil is much less significant leading to less pain when firing over 200 rounds in an afternoon. It still kicks a significant amount but not as much as a .308 or .30-06.

How's the recoil?

do you use that AR-15 for hunting? or self defense? or both?

if i had use for one, and a federal permit i'd go with a FN-Fal, or a styer aug, but an M-4 or colt commando would do just as well.

personally, i don't mind 7.62 nato rounds. but the .223 cal. sounds a bit lacking, but i guess you don't really need that much stopping power either.

I use it for fishing  ^_^

I use it for target shooting because it is extremely accurate and shoots flat out to about 600m. The bullet velocity is about 3200 fps at the muzzle on the ammo I shoot.

It is for home protection as well, though I hope I never have to use it in that way.

Katanas are nice for offensive fighting, but I prefer longswords all around.  Can't stand short swords, though.

Katana, Waki-zashi & a Tanto.
also have many other oriental weapons but although very real, they are all ceremonial.

I've been wanting to learn fencing, but the classes are so darn expensive

the reason i prefer knives over swords is because knives are easier to toss when you need to. it's a lot harder to through a sword at someone. but swords are fine by me, i guess a few shuriken and an odichi would work well together.

Just like you always carry a pistol when you fight with a more powerful gun, the same thing goes for knives and swords.  Knives are like a sidearm.

i suppose so. but i'd just feel more at ease with a good knife in my hand over a sword.

If someone with a knife fought someone with a sword, I think I know who'd win...

ah ha ur wrong. a skilled fighter would be able to beat u and ur sword with a pencil. the knife weilder could easily throw the thing at u before u have drawn ur sword

you forget that you have to draw a knife as well ;)  and if the person with the sword is good enough, i.e. me (without sounding big headed) you can successfully either dodge the knife or deflect it while in the same move set launch an attack of your own.

how bout this. I'll get a good pair of knives, you get your katana, and well meat somewhere and you wont know i'm there till you're drenched in your own blood.

i'd make a good assassin if i were so inclined, and if my legs weren't mess'd up.

Because engineering was red.  It became yellow the same time security did.

As for Uhura, she would be yellow also.

I guess it was one of the decisions they made when they were producing TNG.

do you know what job each colour represents? red was used for captains and commanders in the TNG etc
