What is your favorite Trek series?

ds9 only for the dominion war. the way they are showing it now on sky one is pretty messed up, just random episodes here & there :x  

didn't we had a poll like this before, and btw DS9 was the best

1. TNG - For keeping up the real Trek spirit (my vote)
2. DS9 - For character development and exciting episodes

i guess i agree with that, cept i like the battle sceens in DS9 a bit better (the borg ones are cool though)

TNG for me! It rocked! You should know the DW was only a result of failing viewers, in fact, if Roddenbury had his way, he'd have avoided the Federation going to war I'm sure.

Besides TNG was more Trek...they explored!

But it sucked too and a lot more than TNG as well :P

tos was under fundded and was just figer out what to do with star trek. i feel star trek came in to its own with TNG.

to be honest i haven't even seen that many episodes of TOS series, i reckon most people would obviously be too young to remember it. TNG would be the oldest Trek in most people's minds.

to BaRoN:  Voyager had it's good moments.  (i.e. "Message in a Bottle", In the Flesh, etc.)

to ewm:  Without TOS, there wouldn't have BEEN a Next Generation.

to Cpt Ryan:  The Original Series still shown regularly on the Sci-fi channel (at least here in the US  :P ), so it remains fresh in the minds of many Trek fans.  Those with cable tv, anyways.  I wasn't alive when it first aired, but I've seen every episode, most  of them several times.

i've seen all the TOS episodes and they are fun  even the TOS episodes without kirk but another captain.. (can't recall his name)

well i dont live in the US, so there :P & neither does everyone else.

I liked Voyagers first episode...Caretaker. What a way to start out a series!

In contrast, Encounter at Farpoint and Emmisry were sorta boring...

i actually liked Emmisry. i know i suck.

Don't feel bad, I liked Star Trek The Undiscovered Country...*prepares for major flaming* :D

No flaming needed... but it is a movie, not a series. ;)

Beside of that, The Undiscovered Country is one of my favourite ST movies if not the favourite. :)

well duh, but a lot of trekkies like to think of their captains as gods. I'm more of a starwars fan then Star Trek, but I don't think vader would have let picard survive with his bald headed frenchman quips lol...;) :D

i was i fan of star trek before i even heard of starwars, but they both have their good and bad points. couldn't really say which one i like best.

well i am a bigger fan for ST then SW but both have something interesting. the only thing i find wierd is that in SW, tech is very stagnent

Heh, reign of an evil sith lord as your leader would be somewhat limited to technological advancments.

I love starwars but there are some bad points...love the idea of lightsabers, but since I'm a bit of a physics buff...the physical impossibilities suck more than a drunken prom date, but I usually ignore this stuff...

I don't know any better way to explain it...I could name off all the problems in physics with star trek...but I'd have a stoke.

Now, i'm off to play battlefront 2, so i'll be gone for about 2 or 3 days, cya.
