Title: Whats This? Post by: Atlantis on October 09, 2005, 09:47:34 AM For f***s sake, haven't Star Trek ripped off Babylon 5 enough without stealing flim names too?!

Title: Whats This? Post by: Cpt Ryan on October 09, 2005, 10:03:56 PM er click the link and find out
i think if there is another ST movie it should have the borg, in it. now they ARE as bad as "KAAAHHHNNNN!!" anything else would probably be a waste of time. Title: Whats This? Post by: -=B!G=-The Black Baron on October 09, 2005, 11:00:02 PM I think a new series is the way to go. With epic proporsions, something like DS9 and their Dominion war. That would for sure attract more viewers ;)
Title: Whats This? Post by: [TD]Roach on October 10, 2005, 05:15:49 PM well alot of this tsuff is surfing around with all those rumours of new possible series and movies so i will wait and see. because most of it are untrue
Title: Whats This? Post by: Casper on October 11, 2005, 08:08:18 AM personally i think the dominion war kicked a$$, and if that is what the new series is about, they should start with the klingon invasion of cardassia. after the cardassian Civil war.
that link didn't really say anything about anything. or maybe i didn't look far enough back. Title: Whats This? Post by: Atlantis on October 11, 2005, 10:54:42 AM Ooh, a wild guess would be that it's going to be about the Romulan War, and the "beginning" of the Federation.
Sorry, i'm just very cynical about Star Trek now, since i've seen B5 (and therefore know the history of where the DS9 series came from). "thay need some thing eny thing to get tham back on thare feet" - if they have to resort to stealing the thunder of another sci-fi series, then they have to be stopped. Title: Whats This? Post by: Jolt on October 11, 2005, 06:42:23 PM There have been two plot predictions:
1) The less likely one is that set just after WWIII on Earth...few details were released about that as far as I'm aware. 2) The far more plausible one is that set on board an intersteller Starfleet ship during the middle of the Romulan war. Info. on this includes idea's about an entirely new crew and the struggles of lving in war time along the Romulan/Starfleet "border". Title: Whats This? Post by: Casper on October 12, 2005, 12:50:01 PM I actually like B-5, but i'm a born trekkie and or treker.
Title: Whats This? Post by: RedShirt on October 18, 2005, 02:12:52 PM Quote Ooh, a wild guess would be that it's going to be about the Romulan War, and the "beginning" of the Federation. B5 is, was, a great show, but I don't think that was the sole inspiration for the Dominion War. And even if it was, I think it turned out quite nicely.
