Title: Posting Pics Post by: Cpt Ryan on September 05, 2005, 11:39:02 PM i was wondering if posting pics directly from your comp has been disabled,
several times i have tried to post a pic (most recently in "new dominion ship" thread) and it just won't appear  . No error message or anything appears, so why won't it work? the pic was: &nsbp; &nsbp;.jpeg 800 x 600 24.1kb Title: Posting Pics Post by: Eufnoc on September 06, 2005, 06:19:13 PM umm try hosting it on imageshack, thats what i do.

Title: Posting Pics Post by: PREATOR DEFIANT on September 07, 2005, 01:25:20 PM Ryan stop spamming, your not a moderator, and Casper apparently didn't understand what you said.
Title: Posting Pics Post by: Cpt Ryan on September 07, 2005, 04:30:17 PM Quote Ryan stop spamming, your not a moderator, and Casper apparently didn't understand what you said. im sick of this  1) i never once said that i was a moderator. 2) you are spamming yourself by writing that & not contributing to the actual topic 3) casper can answer for himself, he doesn't need your "righteous" voice, now STFU if you haven't got anything to say REGARDING the topic. Can anyone actually answer this question, & not resort to spamming the thread plz? thnx Title: Posting Pics Post by: DOCa Cola on September 07, 2005, 05:03:05 PM posting images should still work, otherwise i recommend using imageshack also, it keeps our bandwidth usuage low :)
DOCa Cola Title: Posting Pics Post by: Cpt Ryan on September 07, 2005, 07:28:24 PM thanx
Title: Posting Pics Post by: Frodo on September 13, 2005, 12:41:55 AM would be cool if you could download a tin of spam straight from your computer lol
Title: Posting Pics Post by: Casper on September 13, 2005, 12:07:41 PM if you get errors when you upload to imageshack and photobucket, and you can't upload stuff from your computer here, have you thought that it could be a problem on your end? like your phoneline can't handle high data transfer, or something you downloaded, knowingly or unknowingly (spywere or trojans).
----- edit And about that so-called spam, I had been up for about 2 days and totally brainfryed, and didn’t understand what you were saying. Is that spamming? If it is you might want to ban me because I’ll probably do it a bit in the future. Title: Posting Pics Post by: Cpt Ryan on September 13, 2005, 04:04:33 PM @casper, i'm NTL broadband not a phone line. its about a 1mb connection, more than fast enough for home use.

Title: Posting Pics Post by: Tiberious726 on September 22, 2005, 11:37:26 PM i think what is wrong is that you have a firewall blocking your ftp port in the out direction (and i exasted and cant remember which port is ftp, some help here?(i know 42 :D ))
Title: Posting Pics Post by: DOCa Cola on September 23, 2005, 09:43:58 AM remote ftp servers usually have port 21
as opening connections to remote servers unless of which port you are connecting to random ports are used on your computer to establish a connection. like you are connecting to a ftp to port 21 on a remote server some port for example 6856 is opened locally. firewalls usually look what you are trying connect to and open those random ports when they know the port the request is directed to is allowed. Title: Posting Pics Post by: RedShirt on October 16, 2005, 09:23:23 PM Quote would be cool if you could download a tin of spam straight from your computer lol You can. :D SPAM (http://armada2.filefront.com/file/Can_Of_Spam;7704) Title: Posting Pics Post by: Frodo on October 17, 2005, 12:31:51 AM lmfao!!! nice dude
