Title: Fo Beta 2: Strange Behaviour, No Main Menu Post by: Lt.Cdr.White on September 05, 2005, 03:31:35 PM I just installed FO Beta 2 the first time after switching from ME to XP.
Now, instead of getting to the main menu, this is all I get, when I start the program: problem1.jpg (http://home.germany.net/100-499937/forpg/problem1.jpg) An empty map with a random species interface and no stations or ships on screen. When I choose abort mission, I'm right back to the desktop. What's wrong? Update: Seems to be the old "map editor = fo, fo = map editor" error. When I start the map editor, it let's me choose whether I want to create, edit and so on. Then I choose the map's name. After this, the program starts and ... I get to the main menu just as if I had started the FO.exe. Any way to fix it?
