sins thare are no new trek storys on tv or the movies i am stuck with leser shows. thes leser showes like stargate sg1 alantise and bastilstar or begining to bore me.

SG1 with this resint chage of the mane caritors has rely terned me off on it. the gole i here is to replase all of sg1.

SGA its sily but it has its monnts tho its nothing like star trek.

Baltalstar its more thot out and makes more sins. but it is mising the trek teck not liking that. and thay have triyed to mix it with a worped vowe us polatics.

If you knew anything about SG-1 you would know that team should be coming back together. But eventualy the team will probably be changed completely some time in the future.

Atlantis is cool, and on average SG-1 and SGA are beter shows production wise/story wise/continuity wise then the star trek series where.

The way I see it SG makes more sense.

acording the the post is well be totaly chaged the new comander is just a start. no more tilk no more danl no more cader and so on.

Not this season. Cuz, Carter is rejoining the show nextweek I think, Daniel is going to stay on earth, mby he will geust on atlantis but hes stayin on SG-1. Teal'c is going to wind up back with SG-1 probably, cuz politics realy does suck where ever you go.

Rumor has it they were going to do another version of Enterprise, only with marionettes instead of people. Sort of like that old show 'Thunderbirds'. There were also rumors of a series which would star Riker and his command aboard the USS Titan. And who knows what elese they'll come up with? Give them time. in the meantime, Battlestar Galactica, Dr Who, Enterprise, SG-1, and Andromeda will hold me.

Besides, SG-1 has plenty of hilarious moments:

SG1 was fun.. but naw i am holding my breth i have know idea what thay have planed for it in the fucher. what i have seen sins the new critors joned i am disaponted with and bord by.

the opening 3 episode arc where some of the best SG epsiodes ever.

i fawnd tham silly and unrealistic. king ather and the nites of the rawnd tabule that was to much for me. and the story lines have ben prity lame to me latly the speshal efects are good but thats it for me.

SG-1 is hilarious! last night's episode on sky 1 was from season 8, 3rd episode i think, the 1 with anubis body hopping in the SGC, after a spliff i settled down to watch the rest, the part where jack is telling the other 3 about the wrong potatos that came then carter saying summt about the russian leading to daniel asking jack what did he do? "told them to make french fries instead" :lol: brilliant!

i have never really liked sg1 but have been wathcing it lately, i am startring to like it, and its very funny.

Same for me. I watched some, didn't really get the storyline, and stopped but when Enterprise ended I sat thru some shows and now I like it. I haven't heard too much about Stargate:Atlantis, is that already running or is everyone still waiting for it to come out?

I think that I can help by suggesting WWE wrestling although it's not the best out there.  I also suggest looking into local wrestling promotions having road shows near DC.  They're much better than WWE.  Also, NWA: Total Nonstop Action has the show Impact on its website tnawrestling.com (http://tnawrestling.com) on Fridays I believe.  You can always look for stuff on the internet.  Google can lead you to many places.  Trust me.

The new seasons on SG1 and Atlantis are sweet.

Huh. I've looked at the local Sci-Fi channel and it says Atlantis doesn't come till September or something.

never liked enterprise myself, that whole show was... wrong, dead wrong. and don't really like SG-1 but started watching it (nothing better on) and it started to grow on me... instead of a vile hatred, i just have a mild disdain for it. but it's the only thing on late at night. A while ago i was a somewhat usual watcher of andromeda, but when I saw this cyborg dude picked up this chick and broke her neck totally severed her spinal cord and all (you know the hard core seal neck break) and they kill the cyborg dude after like a 5 minute fight, and she is still lying talking. She should have been dead before she hit the ground. That’s when I stopped watching it. Um... don’t have cable, so no sci-fi channel (I know, so lame) so there’s just no good sci-fi alternatives out there for me. Oh I did watch a bit of Babylon 5, before that moved to... um what was it tnt or sci-fi? Well what ever.  

I think it doesn't come out for my area until then. You may have it but I don't yet.

A&E has a lot of criminal shows like American Justice and City Confidential.  I'm sure those might do justice.  No pun intended. :lol:

I must note that Frodo's comment does have merit.  On SpikeTV, the UFC (ultimate fighting) is on TV.  For those who aren't familiar with it, it involves a combination of boxing, kickboxing, martial arts, and many other fighting styles.  If you don't like professional wrestling but like fighting, the UFC might be for you.

There are also court shows like Judge Joe Brown.  I like him, especially since he says it like it is.  There's also The People's Court and Judge Judy.

Jerry Springer is also interesting along with South Park.

i was watching a show similar to what you discribed Mr Darth Satanus, it was fighintg with the combination of a varity of fighting styles, the ones you listed. the show i was watching and was the only 1 i've watched, was complete and utter stupid! the guys where just pplain kicking the **** out of each other then using the technique of tiring the opponent out by 'hugging' (lol) him but in boxing the referree would part the fighters as soon as the 'hhugging' began. in this show they were hugging for ages without any refferee intervening! i was sitting in front of the telly for the duration of the show with a spliff in hand screaming at the screen "**** HIM YOU PONCE!" but he didn't. they carried on hugging until for some reason currently lost to me one of the guys was declared the winner much to the opponant's angst. when i remember the name of the show i'll let you know but for now i can tell you it was different yes, but just ******* gormless and retarded to fight like that!

judge judy and the springer show are good to watch aye. may i also recommand the new over-hyped US series 'Lost' on channel 4 and E4. its pretty good but all i can see is Merriadoc Brandybuck on smack :lol:  

When you put it like that, Frodo, you've got a good point.  I'll drop the UFC suggestion.  Boxing will do, but football pre-season has just begun.  I don't know about the Washington Redskins or whatever ewm90's team is (I mentioned the Redskins only because ewm90 is from D.C.), but my team, the Pittsburgh Steelers (yes, I'm from Pittsburgh), already beat the crap out of Philadelphia 38-31! :lol: GO STEELERS!  Anyhow, boxing and good-old American football might do nicely.  Also, if ewm90 has premium channels, he can watch HBO or something.  If he has on-demand, that would do justice.
