The movie looks great! Very exciting! There wer this creatures with 1 leg   :badgrin:  and i was so scared  :ph34r: ! Those hugh machines on 3 legs and the blood all over to terraform the earth  :x

it was a mix of hg wells war of the warlds and the triy pods serys.

thay stole a lot of ideas from uther sores.

but after geting by that thare wher alot of mustakes in the movie.

such as when evry thing was killed by the elctromagnetic shot some haw a guys camcorder worked.

i dont like tomb crose eny more after his sintolgy speech that guy need to see a sicolagist.

but on the good site speshal efects wher just haw to i put it f_ _ _ ing asom.

the story line was prity good.

the drecter did a asom job i wish he whood have had that one kid have gotin kiled he got napomed after all. i whood have just ben happyer if he did not come back.

i am not going to see it. it is just like the last star wars movie. all about the special effects. And it is just an easy attempt to get some big bucks to redo an excisting movie. (like house of wax and upcomming King kong movie)

Can't they make their own idea's/movie any more?

The original is great aswell. and sure they may have altrered the story a bit just so that they don't have to pay alot for the creaters of the first movie.

and ewm, it is just about the movie not about the scientology. don't think it is some kind of conspiracy about recruitment for the scientology. put it in your politics thread.

in the movie for some reson evry one seemed to be woting to get to bostion for some reson and boston whare the kids mom was was untuched by the alieon thay evin had pawer thare.

Well I think that they didnt attack that yet because it was only minor population there, not everyone wanted to go to Boston, only the main stars cause they wanted to go to their mom/ex wife. They did meet other people on the way, but they didnt say they are going to Boston too :)

As I said I only didnt like the ending.

it makes me laugh, you always spell words wrong excatly the same "EG asom in stead of awesome" also yeah i loved war of the worlds it waw a great film, what rteally anoys me though is the fact that hollywood has once agin turned a english novel based in england into a american story based in america.

I liked the film, except the screaming girl did get on my nerves a bit, overall I though it was an exellent film.

It was alot like the book, better then the 1950ish one which had almost nothing in common. I hated the really sappy part at the end when teh son is still alive. Sorry, i know its a cold thing to say, but come on! The boy survived the massive inferno of heat-ray death! BS....
Again, im sorry, im bitter and evil and like some realism in movies in the case of ones mortality. :devil:

Most blockbusters don't have alot of realism in them, like for instance Independance day. It is usually the Eye candy and the great special effects what makes it a blockbuster
