Does anyone know how to make derelict stations, such as reasearch posts, that have already completed their research. Can you take over a derelict station and automatically get all the technologies that it has?

I'm trying to make a map that limits the amount of time I have to take to build a vast fleet.

yes, what you do is go into map editor, place the station (with crew in) press ctrl+a and it will make it into a skirmish, just research all the stuff and then press ctrl+a again to go back into map editor

good glad to of helped, you can also do that in instant action, its a little cheat i discovered lol.
