oh, there are many ways to waste 300 gb, for example never uninstall a app again for space reasons :D
i installed win2k3 just for fun, a few changes and it is the same as winxp for gaming

Hey Phoenix how much did your pc cost.

My guess around $4,000-$6,000 right.

Post by: Phoenix on June 08, 2003, 06:56:58 AM
$8,500 to be exact. I know that seems like a lot but I have always bought the ones from the store,   With this one I decided to order one the way I wanted. So I got the best of everything Alienware had to offer. The most expensive thing was the dual Monitors, Of coarse buying two they gave me a deal but they were still around $4,300. Buy themselves. But all the money was worth it, it's very fast and I can do tons of stuff at the same time without it bogging down. :D

Title: Who has the best PC here?
Post by: tyrkina on June 21, 2003, 04:29:14 AM
yea the only problem with that is
1 if its the newest and best it prolly wont have drivers for other devices

2costs alot more than the model one step down that does have drivers for other comp parts(graphics card, sound card, drivers to run the games).
other than that not bad :cloak:

yea, a new graphic card would get out more of your pc config, but as i am nvidia customer i cannot say which new graphic card would match your desires :) i took a gf fx 5900 -> flashed to 5950 ultra over my older (but still nice) gf4 ti-4200 and i am quite happy with it
