Title: Tain, Homer, Buu, Cartman, Jabba, Or Miss Piggy?
Post by: EccentricDonald on January 13, 2005, 06:55:29 AM
I'm not sure of my favorite lard-@$$ from entertainment.  I might lean towards Tain or Buu.  They're all fat anyways.  Ha! Ha! Ha!

I meant for this to be a joke.  Most of them that I put up there are personal favorites, except for Miss Piggy, who I used to like when I used to like the Muppets ten years ago.
That should explain my choices, plus I couldn't really put every fatso on there, just the first ones off the top of my head.

I voted vor Cartman. Reason:

Jabba is not fat. Have you ever seen a thin Hutt? They are that way, Jabba is not fatter than most others. Cartman on the other side IS fat.

But wait... what was that women in Southpark called? They made her sound and act like Jabbe... That one was really fat.

Ok, I'm talking nonsense... But the thread is nonsense too and I'm bored. :D

I'm off playing "The Battle for Middle Earth" (still waiting for FO 3.0). ;)

Whoever said that anything stupid or funny was not nonsense anyways, so I will concur with you on that.  I put Jabba up there anyways because people always compare some notable fat people to Jabba the Hutt.  Also, the one character on South Park that resembles Jabba is Sally Struthers, and I can't believe that she was once pretty thin on All in the Family.  Talk about Archie Bunker.

jabba gives obesity a new name. I don't care if the entire damn race is a bunch of obese slugs. he is still the king of cellulite weighing in at 3 metric tons, Jabba the hut!
who cares anyways, i find Star wars the greatest defention of special effects with a lame ass plot and crappy to sub standard acting; the only 2 redeeming factors are
decent soundtrack and harrison ford's superb acting as Han Solo.
this is not flaming i have seen all the Star Wars films at least 4 times nad they were okay for awhile. But the thing that pisses me of the most is the S.W. f***s who say:
"Star Trek sucks because it just does and only fags watch it."
I wanna set those sonsofbitches on fire  just for the homophobia but the rest of it just makes me wanna do horrible things to them.

We won't talk about star wars because It was like a movie series and now it is becoming a train wreck, why? because George Lucas has lost his focus and can't see past his wallet and where is peter griffen from faimly guy

I like the original trilogy, but the other films are not so good.  Episode was a joke because it was made for children, yes, CHILDRENNNNNN!!!  I'm 19 years old, and I'm more interested in more mature, more adult stuff, not Lemony Snicket, not Harry Potter, and definitely not Spider Man!!!  America is very IMMATURE, and hardly anyone wants anything original in terms of mature stuff (Star Trek was NOT made for children, and it has always been popular amongst adolescents and young adults, so it's NOT immature at all).

Actually, even most of Harry Potter is more mature than Episode I...

But as it seems, Episode III will be PG-13, so look forward to that one. :)
From what I've read concerning spoilers, this one's going to be really dark and tense.

I agree that Episode III would be very good.  Personally, I'd like to see the emergence of Darth Sidious to Palpatine.

I would love to see it the first day it comes out but there are two reasons I won't

1: there will probably be such a long line that even the freeway will come to a complete stop (god I don't want to be working that day...)

2: I work at a movie theatre and I can't go see new movies, and I sure as hell aint paying to see it at a competing movie company

Who is Darth Sideous?

In Episode I, Darth Sidious is the master of Darth Maul.  He's the hooded guy who talks via hologram to Nute Gunray, the leader of the Trade Federation.  He is also the master of Count Dooku, a.k.a. Darth Tyrannus, in Episode II.  You'll see in Episode III. ;)

Khmmmm I really dislike Star Wars and this is my reason: I think that the future they show in there is improbable at best, and I wish to belive that the future will be more like Star Trek universe :)

Oh and if anyone made fun of me that Star Trek is for gay people and pussys I would kick his ass in an instant ;)

Star Wars does not show any future.

Every episode starts:

"A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..."

It's a space tale, not true science-fiction.
You should take it more as modern mythology
(as a Lord of the Rings in space perhaps).

Yeah it has nothing to do with our world now, except the people are oddly human except for the aliens. I guess they had to it for budget reasons, that and people can relate to humans better. I like everything starting in Star, like star trek, star wars, star gate, etc.

I am with preator on that, although I was reading an article somewhere today saying that we are close to anti matter and creating it then usign it as a weapon then as an energy source

I heard some years ago we successfully transported matter from one location to another without physically picking it up. Keep in mind it was only like an atom or something but I think thats pretty cool. I don't know details.

Some university in the Netherlands (I forget the name, and it was one of those long Dutch names) did such experiment.  What happened was that they "beamed" a photon, a small subatomic particle, from one place to another.  Also, those who consider Star Trek to be for sissies are the real sissies because they're totally jealous over how us Trekkies/Trekkers are smarter than them, more mature than them, and that we can stand up to any foes!!!

Not necessarily true, i'm both for star trek and star wars and both sides have their good and bad point, although it is true younger people get into star wars and they are fairly imature at time. But for the most part people interested in star wars are just like us, they just watch differant movies and play differant games.

I have a tendeancy to be somewhat general at times.  I too am a Star Wars fan, but I understand that there is a greater fraction of little kids (like grade schoolers) who get into Star Wars.  What makes it more immature is junk like Episode I which was made for little kids.  The original trilogy as well as the games and the books were made for more adolescent and adult audiences.  Stuff like the Yuuzhan Vong was not meant for kids, so I just wanted to clarify that for future references.

Well we can debate on which ship effects and stuff are cooler but that would be pointless. Some may perfer how star wars looks and other star trek.
