Star Trek Armada II: Fleet Operations

We are all star trek fans, you wouldnt be reading this if you werent, i think there must be other traits we have in common that we could discuss, we know very little about each other by the  forums and i think it would be nice to get to know one another a little better. just post what you like and dislike, hobbie intrestes, job, life goals what ever the hell you feel like sharing.

I like computers and games, I hope to fly helicopters for the army here in 2 years, and plan on becomming a cop afterwards.  

OK, yep. I am currently a student. I am very very interestwd in Robotics, AI, Computers (games too). And i am a big fan of Star Trek of course. This is what i do in free time.
When i am not free I am on my Warbird Maximus, drinking some Romulan Ale and spying on some stupid Klingon Bops hehe.
 

I'm a student who doesn't have much time to do anything (like come here)because of homework and after school activities like basketball...but mostly homework. I HATE ************************************** HOMEWORK! :badgrin: But I also like playing computer games and hanging with my friends. And thats about it....homework :mad:

Well I am also a sudent, and I like Comps, games, ST, handball, football(soccer), hockey(which I played for 6 years) and also some other sports :)

well, I like star trek and computers and games, thinking of starting my own buisness in computers (assembling them, repairing stuff like that)

I almost became a F-16 pilot for the Royal Netherlands Air Force, however our government decided to cut down on the funds so there was a recruitement stop, same thing happened when I applied to the Commando Troops, so I decided to do something different, ambulance driver

Well, im from Northern Ireland, im 18 and a student studying Art Foundation Diploma, I go there full time for 3 days a week, I like... Star Trek, Sound Engineering/Voice acting, Computing, Fleet Ops, Making Graphics, Goin to the gym, Hanging out, Gaming and the Simpsons

I work at a store big in the UK called "NEXT plc" working from 5am-10am doin delivery (pain in the ass in other words)

Once I have my Diploma, I wana move into a Graphic Design job or a sound engineer job... maybe both  :wacko:

Errr...I like almost all kinds of PC and console games.  I also  play Warhammer 40k table top armies. I do philosophy and politics on the same sitting  :lol: I love Japanese anime :P . Biological sciences is my passion...although i have yet to finish a university degree...someday ;) I love playing/practicing/working with swords and my friends. I finally was able to fire 3 of my favorite sub-machineguns latelly:D I play around with girls that are sometimes a little too young for me (legal age ofcourse)... :rolleyes: But, dating is fun   :lol: .

as for my self, i am a 15 year old sophmore in highschool. I work a ton and suffer from constantly worrying about my grades, my friends call me an overachiever and they might be right, but f***'em, i want to get a head in life. I love computer games and some console games, i love magic the gathering and play it almost everyday. I love cartoons and sciencefiction but sorry i don't really like animae all that much. the art style just bugs me.(dont lynch me :( )
I am a liberal democrat and everyone is entitled to their own opinions and political standings and this is the only mention of polotics i will permit on this thread, ill close it at the first mention of them otherwise.
As far as my academic standings, i love history and science, but i despise math in all forms[aside form geometry] :)  after school with my friends i play old school RPG's and i hope to become a psychologist when i graduate and go through many years of college.

I'm 21, an electrical engineering senior at Arizona State University in the American Southwest. Like Praetor Defiant I hope to serve my country either as an engineer in the defence industry or as an infantry officer, probably Marines.

I like reading military history (Thucydides on up), preparing myself physically for the eventuality of infantry combat with cross country running and firearms training, and playing videogames like Counter-Strike, Starcraft, various C&C, Starfleet Command 3, and of course FleetOps.

Oh yeah and college girls are an awful lot of fun too  :blush:

I'm 19 years old.  I'm going to college for Liberal Arts and Sciences, and then I will be taking up Secondary Education with concentration on Citizenship (U.S. Government and History).  I've been into Star Trek for ten years.  I also like Dragonball Z, Star Wars, professional wrestling, and South Park.  As you all can see, one of my favorite characters and role models is Elim Garak.  Others include Worf, Martok, Odo, Goku, Palpatine, the Undertaker, and Darth Vader.  This website is the first forum website that I have gotten myself into, so I still have some learning to do.  My home is near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and I hope to live in the southern half of West Virginia, more specifically either Mercer or McDowell Counties.

well donald1 i thank you again for getting the topic back on and realize my dislike of star wars is only because of the trouble it has brought me at school. They make it that at my school a love of Star Trek is a crime punishable by stoning for god sakes. We (few other trekkies and I) must keep it secret or we are alienated from the rest of the High School world. :mad:

it was that way at my school until all of them had to retake the quadratics test because they all failed while the trekies sat around and laughed because (we were the ones to pass) (and ever since then the trekie population has been growing) we never quite bothered to keep it a secret...

That should be a great example to those under persecution and should be great inspiration for them.  Just remember to not get carried away and being rude to them.

I'm 14, a student at Pheonix Middle School on Vancouver Island (Canada). I enjoy going through old aircraft and pulling things apart in other words I like to tinker with things.

I love games like Halo (2). I am proud on the fact that I know alot of ST history but DS9 has always been a bit of a no know to me.

Humm thats strange at all of the schools i have been to star trek is not loved by all, but is resonabley popular, geeks are excepted through out you goe the odd twat saying oi geek but you just nut him and carry on with what you was doing, i don't have any problems at school with anti geeks just townies (chaves, neds what ever you call them else where in the uk) (they are not an internation problem just a british one.) (any brit teenager will relate to this unless you are a townie in which case you hate grrebos, skaters, goths etc and you are a complete knob.).

Well britain is famous for it's love of star trek, because it seems like more people like it their per capita then anywhere else. I for one doubt anyone I know are interested in it so I just keep it to myself.

As your friend, Chancellor, I must say that your wisdom for this thread was in the name of friendship and must be respected in that very fashion.  Read my Sig and see that it has the same message as on ewm90's Sig: keep it in the political thread.  That was after the posts involving the political jabberjaw hogwash.  Things are just getting out of hand and must be resolved.  I must propose some task forces that would maintain some sense of sanity to the forum.  For instance, one would take care of the political stuff, and another would help maintain the wisdon that you, Chancellor, sought for this particular thread.
