With ridges being a genetic trait, I doubt that there would be enough cross breeding between smooth and riged klingons to warrent all klingons with ridges. Besides have we ever seen a Ridged klingon in TOS? #2 I do not like. It is not verry plausable, Since The blood brothers of Dax, are all ridged klingons where as they where smooth headed klingons in TOS. They are the same race as the otehr klingons. #3 Theroy 3 is pretty stupid. Surgicaly manipulating the facial features of your entire race, just beacuse of the federation or romulans. #4 Umm... Umm... Im gonna say no this one, it falls too clsoe to number 3. I like #5 and the #3 from Lt.Cdr.White's page. Title: Klingons And There Forheads Post by: Lumpybob on November 06, 2004, 03:00:03 AM my theory: earths toxic waste was transported by the organians to Qo'nos via magic, the nuclear radiation then mutated all the klingons so their ridges dissapered, then the same radiation made their ridges reappear.
