Star Trek Armada II: Fleet Operations

Afer watching an episode of DS9 where ducat is in a cave with sisko and he talks about how just he was in what he did, and the illusions and how he in the end hated the bajorans and wanted to kill them all. After watching, I found how deep the ducat character was in comparison to other villans. Thus was inspired to make this poll. Who/What is/are the best villan, who would leave the most impact, physical and emotional?

Dukat is pretty cool, but after the death of his daughter he becomes more and more annoying.

the borg are not relly villians villans are people who chose to be evil the borg are not ggod or evil they are just the borg they are just obaying the programming and there programming requries perfection and they will do anything to achive perfection.

The founders arent evil they where just scared/ in distrust of teh solids.

To my knowledge, a villan is the antaganist of a plot, whereas a hero is a protaganist. I might be wrong, but as far as I know, the borg are considered the bad guys/villans. And during/post FC they seemed to have a lot more evil in them then a need for perfection. Probaly because it's easier to think of the enemy as evil.

The borg are the enemy but not considered evil by me.

ok teletubbies are my enemy but they not evil, but they are f***ing anoying and i want to shot them the producers and anyone that helps make the sho possible, i then want to bring them back to life hurt them alot, subject them to kangeroo sex and kill them once more and then repeat the whole thing again and agan for aslong as i may live but they are not evil

He didn't really kill anyone, maybe counting those people on the freighters at the beginning and possibly kirk, but still.

Soran. It's the fact that this man will stop at nothing to get what he wants, willing to kill millions of people and entire star systems. His obsession is played well in the film as well.

He just wanted to go thru the rift, all those people were expendable to him. Shinzon ment to kill BILLIONS (not hundreds of millions, many thousands of millions) of people to prove a point.

Well yeah, they seek perfection and not to kill other races, and also the dominion only wants order and not to kill everyone ;)  

The dominion wants a totaliarian government because they think they are superior and it is their birthright to rule. And thus their actions are just in their eyes. Similar to the cardassians occupation of bajor as accounted by Dukat. They likely have a subconcious need for vengance on the solids.

The Borg wish to assimilate everything that is unknown to them wether the unknown likes it or not. They will wipe out those that they cannot assimilate and absorbs those they can. Worlds devoured by industry. people watching from behind their own eyes and they kill/assimilate their own people. Watching them destroy their homeworlds last defenses using their knowledge. They use people on a regular basis one way or another to accomplish their goal.

Dr. Soran annihilated entire solar systems to get his goal, which was an infinite vacation in a fantasy world. There were likely billions upon billions of people. What did he care, nothing, he simply wanted to return to the nexus and have that be the end of it.

Shinzon wanted to annihilate earth and starfleet to prove a point, a non existant point that was simply something he created to hide his motives, from even himself. His exact realy motives I am unsure of but I think it was a lust for conquest, possibly insanity coupled with a lust for complex.

the dom wer only on one showe and the cardsians are more of a anoise than a vilan for most of st for the feds. i dont think ether shood evin be on as choses.

well at least,... preator is right.. its more russian style... the germans never made alliances like the dominion does... they jus kicked everybodys ass when they approach at other points in europe... but i think its a major mistake to put those two things together...
and back to topic, i still think borg and the romulans were the most dagerous villans in ST... borg - the aggressive part while they tried to "perfect themselves"... and the roms were everywhere in the background tryin to control most strategic points, sectors and situations, involved in everything..

I have to say the Cardassians are the closest to the nazi's of WWII, they occupied and killed bajorans in concentration camps and forced them to labor just like the horrible, evil , sons of bitches known as nazi's did to the jews. And they wanted to back stab the weakend dominon after the war if they won.

they backstabbed the dominion because of all the mistreatment and cardassian deaths. the cardies couldn't tke it ni mire and joined the winnng side in the middle of a battle.

yep your right, i just saw that episode of DS9 'Strange Bedfellows' damar defects i never though it would happen. :wacko:
