It's no problem if your file is under 200k. There is an option when you post
(you can add one with edit even after you posted). But as I have such a detailed painting as wallpaper,
I can't attach it without immense quality loss. So I had to upload it to my webspace.

well.. when u save the screenshot as a .jpg file, u can do it in paint for example, then its no problem. mine was 2,28mb as a normal bmp, and its just 68kb as a jpeg, so ;)

Emmmm, just change the format to JPEG, no quality loss and still under 200k ;)
Oh and there's a button that says attach file, so u click that and choose your pic :)

As I already explained, the compression of a JPEG depends on the amount of detail in the picture. Large areas with the same color are easily compressed, while a picture where almost every pixel differs from his neighbour is a problem.

For my desktop, even a level 50 compression jpg is bigger than 200k and looks already pretty ugly concerning quality.

I know what I'm talking about. :D

Do you guys ever read? I don't have a problem.
I simply explained why I used my webspace and not the attachment function...

It's on page 1 in the second post. :P
Was always there, I just modified it to a url-Link instead of an img-Tag so it doesn't load immediately.
